A research via the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Buyer Safety tested eight imported samples of 'Dubai chocolate', five within the UAE and three from Turkey. It found that all eight samples had been deemed "defective". Five from the items sampled contained fats aside from cocoa butter, which is not permitted in items labelled "chocolate" in Germany
